Anlässlich der Bewerbung Moskaus für die olympischen Spiele 2012 zog gestern eine Flotte prächtiger Boote die Moskwa hinab. “Olympischer Fluss”, so der Name des Spektakels, dass Tausende Moskauer an den Ufern des Flusses verfolgten.
A fleet of decorated vessels staged a theatrical celebration of the Olympic Games along the banks of the Moscow River yesterday. Called “Olympic River”, the huge water performance emphasised the role that the Games have played over the past 60 years in uniting the world.
